AccuPid M. bovis Detection Kitis a real-time PCR-based kit used for the detection of DNA from the Mycoplasma bovis in cows. M. bovis is a cause of bronchopneumonia, mastitis and arthritis but may also affect other main organs in cattle such us the eye, ear or brain. Despite its non-zoonotic character, M. bovis infections are responsible for substantial economic health and welfare problems worldwide. Testing can be done in milk, colostrum, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, deep nasopharyngeal swabs, tissue… from cows suspected of M. bovis infection.
