The predecessor of the Company is a research group on infectious diseases in the Molecular Biology Laboratory – Department of Genetics – University of Natural Sciences – National University of HCMC. This research group was formed and developed since 1997 based on cooperative programs with other research groups in the field of medicine.
In 2004, KHOA THUONG BIOTECHNOLOGY CO., LTD was officially established with the main activity of researching, manufacturing and transferring molecular biology diagnostic kits for infectious diseases. Khoa Thuong is one of the pioneers in research and successfully applied diagnostic kits for infectious diseases using molecular biology techniques in Healthcare.
